Time, Space, Knowledge and Problem Solving...

Well, I think this practice is important to continue. I am sure it does much good. We are taught logic, which approaches exploration in the way we spatially compartmentalize thoughts, judgement, and prioritization of tasks based on what issues we feel are most pressing or rate limiting.

When we make a 'to do list,' we are taught to itemize in order of priority, which uses two-dimensional spatiality and direction to denote what is most important, and if the list is comprised of letters and words instead of objects, the order of operation is right to left and up to down. This is our process limited to a perspective of right to left and then up to down.

In math there is a similar order of operation. I feel the way we nest concepts is how we inherently approach problems sometimes across the board in order of complexity based on what we perceive is most challenging. It defines an entire process in working things out, and that can be plain, ol' limiting!

In chemistry and physics we look for the rate limiting step, which (thermodynamically) expresses the step in a process that determines how much progress we ultimately manifest no matter how much energy and materials we have to work with.

We say the laws of nature make it that way. TSK suggests that the perspectives we choose make it that way, which is why meditation has always been a proponent for problem solving in research.

Meditation allows the divine to intervene and makes all that prioritization less valid.
